Billing Policy

Mt Eliza Medical Centre is a Private Billing Clinic. Children aged under 16 years, Pensioners, and Health Care Cards holders Maybe Bulk Billed.

Private patients will be charged our consultation fees which are accepted in the form of Cash, Master Card or Visa Card. We do not accept American Express or Diners Club cards.

We are registered with Medicare for claiming rebates, which means your payments are lodged electronically after your consultation and the rebate from Medicare will be reimbursed into your nominated bank account, usually within 24 hours.

Dr Marshal’s  Fees for a standard consultation is $75.00 with a rebate of $42.40 ;  Long consultations attract a fee of $150 with a rebate of $80.10 by Medicare.

Dr Savy’s fees are higher ie $106 (rebate $42.40) for Standard consults and $ 210 (rebate $80.10) for Long Consults

DVA (Department of Veterans Affairs) Cardholders will be Bulk Billed .

Medical examinations for insurance, Pre-employment, etc will be billed privately.

Work Cover related consultations will be billed directly to Work Cover Insurers.
