Billing Policy

Mt Eliza Medical Centre is a Private Billing Clinic. However we will bulk bill children under 16,  pensioners, and Health care cards holders maybe Bulk Billed .
All Patients will need to finalize their accounts at the time of consultation.
Please refer to our current fee list available at the reception.

For private patients payments can be accepted in the form of cash, EFTPOS, MasterCard or Visa. We do not accept Amex or Diners Club cards or cheques. For your convenience, our practice is registered for Medicare online claiming which means that we can lodge claims electronically at the time of payment, and the Medicare rebate is reimbursed into the nominated bank account.
Department of Veteran Affairs ( DVA Gold Cardholders) are bulk billed for all eligible services. Medical examinations such as for insurance, pre-employment, private vaccinations do not attract a Medicare rebate and must be paid for in full at the time of the consultation

Non-medicare rebatable consults (Workcover Consultations Insurance forms, Third Party Consults, Pre- employment Medicals etc have a different fee structure and details are available at the reception.

All Dept of Health Funded Vaccinations are bulk billed for all eligible patients. This includes flu vaccinations, pneumococcal vaccinations, boostrix vaccinations and childhood vaccinations.
